Katie Ridder is probably one of the most interesting design talents working today. Here incredible use of color to create outstanding spaces layered with antiques, textures, modern touches, highly customized upholstery - a perfect example of the maximalist trend that has taken over the design industry.
It's no wonder every project she produces is sought after by shelter publications, book deals, and blogs. Instagram LOVES a Katie Ridder room.
So it was no surprise that we would want to tap Katie's design brilliance to create a custom piece for our 10 Year Anniversary collection. A long time client of oomph, Ridder designed a side table using her signature "layered" look. A mix of Lacquer, leather and brass, finished in her signature green.

Last Winter we hosted a book signing for Katie and her husband, architect, Peter Pennoyer. The book, A House in the Country, is a celebration of their home in Millbrook NY, for which the table is named. Katie shot and styled the side table at this home in Millbrook.
